Career: E.Washington (USA-NCAA, 2003-06), TV 1872 Saarlouis (Germany-DBBL, 2006-08), Banco di Scilia Robera (Italy -A1, 2008-09) Pays d'Aix Basket Provence (France-LFB, 2009-10), ESB Lille Metropole (France-LNF 2010)
The forward has a good track record since completing her college career at Eastern Washington University, having played in France, Germany and Italy. Originally from Stockport, the forward was an outstanding college player, being named to the All-Big Sky Team in 2005-2006, a year in which she averaged around 10 points and 5 rebounds a game, as had been the case in each of her first three years of university basketball. Her comeback from a serious road accident during 2008 while playing in Italy has been simply remarkable. She fought back from numerous injuries and ever since she has returned to the court, her career has taken off even further. She played a key role in the Qualifying Round and was the best rebounder on the team. She has also played in EuroCup Women and will be a real physical presence on the boards as well as no doubt utilising her impressive leadership qualities which came to the fore last summer. |
