There is little doubt that scoring has never been the number one forte of Osipova, but her impressive rebounding prowess and veteran know-how in the paint, could still prove priceless for Russia as she prepares to step out for her country at her sixth EuroBasket Women tournament. She has also enjoyed a distinguished club career, winning four EuroLeague Women titles in a row at Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje. Last season she played for a non-Russian club for just the second time, when she suited up for Istanbul University in the Turkish League and finished with some impressive numbers. She didn't finish as clinically as usual at the Olympics last summer but played the second most minutes of any player, highlighting the importance of her hard work on the glass and defensive capabilities. She has a high basketball IQ and anyone getting blocked will get that infamous Osipova smile afterwards.
