Career: Dandeenong (Australia WNBL- 1998-99), Sydney Uni Flames (Australia WNBL- 2000-03),Barking Abbey Rhondda Rebels(Great Britain- EBL, 2009-10), Sydney Uni Flames (Australia WNBL- 2010-11)
Natalie Stafford brings Great Britain the benefit of her extensive experience and winning mentality which is important not only on the court, but around the locker room too. She has been a driving force within the team and has emerged as a real leader and an effective play-maker. Whether she has the ball in her hands or not, she is always making plays or creating space for others with her court smarts. She is someone who has given the team a real go-to option down the stretch and can convert from both downtown and also in the lane. She knows what it means to win trophies and be successful and is a player Coach Maher knows well from their time in Australia. Defensively strong and always looking to create for either herself or her teammates she is a big bonus at both ends of the floor for Great Britain. |
